.Move this mod to the very bottom of your mod load order.
.Verify the integrity of your game files: In your Steam library, right-click on "Tale of Immortal", select "Properties", and you can find the option there.
.Deselect all other mods and exit the game. Then, verify the game files' integrity. After verification, launch the game enabling only this mod. If the mod works now, it indicates a conflict with one of your other mods, and you'll need to identify which one is causing the issue.
.If you have previously deleted the version.dllfile from your game's root directory, this mod will not work, as many mods depend on this file. A fellow player in the mod comments section provided the reason and a solution: If your Windows system region is not set to China, the game may fail to launch if the version.dllfile is present. Deleting this file allows the game to start but prevents many mods from loading. The reason is that for non-China regions (e.g., United States), the default Windows Unicode setting might not support Chinese characters properly.
Solution: Open the Windows Control Panel , Settings -> Time and Language -> Language and Region -> Administrative Language Settings -> Change System Locale -> Enable UFT-8 Beta and restart PC
.Some users in community groups have reported that using unauthorized DLC unlockers can cause mods to fail to load.
