The Wild Landers... What is their true origin?
Whispers and speculation suggest they were once humans, wandering aimlessly through the untamed lands of Nevada among us. At first glance, they were ordinary, but they were lured by the promise of a program that would finally make their lives interesting. That promise, however, was nothing more than a lure designed to ensnare test subjects for heinous experiments.

Needles pierced their fragile skin, injecting substances that eventually caused their epidermis to fall off. Yet, in rare cases, an extraordinary side effect emerged: their flesh hardening to the strength of steel. Needles shattered upon contact with their skin. The scientists had to resort to hammering steel nails into their mutated bodies just to regain access to their mutilated veins and continue their DNA modification procedures.

Some called these experiments grotesque crimes against humanity, while others saw them as the formula for creating the perfect war machines... But the side effects grew more erratic and severe. The lab eventually lost control. Chaos ensued as the test subjects broke free from their containment, each transformed into a unique and monstrous being. They were no longer ordinary individuals and, as promised, their lives indeed became more interesting to study upon... As they became something otherworldly.

All the sudden, a massive explosion occurred onto the lab, flooding the area with a blinding flash of light. Time seemed to slow down as the light consumed everything, and then everything was gone, reduced into ashes. For years, things seemed to have returned to normal...

However, perhaps nature found a way, but these savage creatures slowly began reappearing out of nowhere, invading a desolate zone of Nevada... Possibly the site of the destroyed laboratory. No one knows for sure. The region is now considered cursed, a place far too dangerous for regular tourists. Only armed mercenaries may enter to neutralizing the threat through lethal force...

And yet, this is just a theory... A grunt’s theory.
