CIS Act1 Pirate Negotiations bug?
CIS smaller galactic map (the one with less planets than the full galaxy one)

Act 1 does not work, because none of the pirate planets available can be negotiated with. Therefore can not complete the "Negotiate with pirates" condition.
One thing to note: I conquered a lot of planets first before trying to complete the Act1.

Has anyone else encountered this?

in the beginning send doku to 1 pirate planet, have him sit there for awhile i think a full week or 2 and you'll get a mission for him to stay there and you'll get the planet

Move Dooku to another space slot on that same orange world, maybe mission will trigger.

Not all pirate planets are available for takeover, as far as I remember. Try Florrum / Korriban / Zyggeria / Dathomir; they should be relatively short takeovers too.

Tried all of these and unfortunately the Republic took over all of them! so yeah it is an issue.

I also tried everything to solve this issue but I think only a restart of the campain might work.

So I have a similar problem finishing act one. All I need is the pirate negotiation. I sent Dooku to Korriban and it said 5 weeks. It's been sitting at 0 weeks for like 10 weeks or so. I tried moving him to different space slots. I tried moving him to other planets, and I tried moving him back to Korriban. Nothing.

i got the mission to conquer a planet for pirates but i was unable to complete it in the time frame, now every time i send dooku to a pirate world i get prompt saying "negotiations are unavailable" on that planet, am i going to half to restart my campaign to get this to work?

This issue should be fixed for new campaigns started after the recent patches.

alright thanks now i know, im too far in i'll just continue my campaign as is then im going to try the republic for my next play through, keep up the great work
