We will therefore not be doing this.
On the FOTR discord this was posted and AFAIK it applies to all mods, so basically if they removed alot of scripting it would only leave a very, very small part of the mod in place and even that would have stability issues so likely not worth it:
"Unfortunately Multiplayer GC has a lot of issues in EaW. For one, it's unstable and doesn't like cooperating with saves. For another, it doesn't allow the use of most of the things we do with in-depth story scripting or a large section of LUA scripting (and a lot of what you can do with scripting would further contribute to desyncs). This means almost every feature of both mods doesn't work, from stuff as complicated to boarding and the government/influence mechanics, to stuff as simple as build bar filters and the basics of the era system. We will hopefully do a stripped-down version for multiplayer campaign as a submod in the future."
It is very hard to believe that you will not have more to say on this matter, considering that EVERY DAY this same question is asked in the comment section ;)
