I liked the idea but not the execution of it... There is a lot of problems with this mod.
First i built a small mail office with 2 carts. The workers picked up the letters from the truck and start the delivery, but i placed only one mail point and the inmates nerby recieved 25+ letters in one single day, even the cells without occupation recieved it. When i tried to put more mail point in my prison it didnt recived nothing, only the first one did.

-The workes pick the mail on the truck, put on the ground, pick up and put on the truck, on the ground, on the truck,...,pick up and take to mail center.
-The workes carry the cart like they where installing it, not like they where pushing it ( like the laundry basket).
-Mail point cant be dumped or dismanteled.
-There is not a maximum number of letters a inmate can recive each day.
-The distribution logistic dont work

I hope this mod will improve with time, it has much potential.

The main reason you got problems was that you built the Mail Desk before your markers, thus starting the distribution early. But your input made me figure a different way of handling this, it would give the markers a larger range without becoming CPU-hogs (you'd still need to build the mail desk last though).

The workers stack the mail bags before moving them, and walks away in between, rather awkward but not something I can easily do anything about. The mod system does not seem to support the creation of new stacks, that would otherwise be the best solution.

This would of course be neat, but there is no easy way of doing it and I didn't think it to be an important enough feature to spend another week on.

Yes, I want you to be able to move/delete them. Unfortunately there is no easy way of detecting deletions so it's not neatly handled while mail is flowing around. It is a high-priority item in my todo-list, will add it to the page.

True, there is no easy way of detecting which ones are occupied. It is possible however, it is on my wishlist of things to do if real life permits. :)

Regarding #1: Why don't you count/"detect" all markers every 24 hours (when a delivery arrives)? PA is all about expanding, and it seems a bit odd to have the mail desk rebuild every time you open a new cell block. As placing the desk doesn't take much longer than placing anything else I don't assume it is too CPU-heavy to be executed once in a prison-day? Would also solve #4

Ah, it does pretty much recount everything every 24 hours, just not in between
