Surface map
There should be a surface map for servers when it comes to Stalker RP, a really cool thing you can do with communities is have a 2nd private server for when there are stuff like missions, and stuff like that. All though a big part of the surface is the mutants so, not sure how that would work out, maybe if making the map AI friendly and have a special NPC would work, all though NPCs are made to only attack 1 player and other NPC(s)

that is true and also have a different overlay for the gas mask in stead of it having a creepy breathing sucky overlay

A surface map is in the works i'm waiting on it just like everyone else. but i am busy working on some other stuff... But soon..... Soon...

By any chance can/will the surface map and the undergound map be the same? As in, there is a verion that is both maps merged, with entrances connecting the top and bottom. That would be absolutely fantastic.

I was going to ask if i could Have permission to edit this map To create a surface area. Respectfully i would be asking here. before conducting such actions as i wish not to agitate you or the community. I do love that map i really do. But also i do request a jail area. and it seemes some of the latters are broken. Thus why i am asking for permission to edit it. Also about the surface would it be within this map as well or would be an entirely seperated map its self ?

anyone know of any rp maps similar to rp_pripyat in terms of size?
Im trying to find big post apocalyptic maps to use for a server im trying to start up.

any and all help is appreciated :)

Since i had not gotten a response from the dev i might go ahead and take the time to make a surface my self seeing that this map seems to be a untouched product anymore. None the less i also have no intrest in gmod mor anything that is involved with it. So if i do happen to dabble in editing again it will be at my own pace. :)
