im using Lithium for optimisations, maybe that, it slightly messes with the rendering
The video just refers to gaps in displacements due to them not being sewn. Willing to bet that the problem displacements are being sewn, and the micro-gaps appear post compile. I've seen this before in my own projects.
If I had to hazard a guess, it's due to the geometry made into displacements is wonky, though not invalid in the editor, and the compiler doesn't have the precision required to correctly replicate what is seen in the editor.

I did it this way to encourage players to engage in combat, and give the potential atackers a chance to win the standoff, if the gate simply closed the roleplay would end and the defenders would always win
