I just tried to recreate this bug, but it works fine for me. Did you press F7 to stop the image from responding to the cursor?

oh thats the issue, sorry i forgot about that feature

i am on lenovo and the f7 and f8 keybinds dont work for me, i tried editing the keybinds to brackets in the json but it didnt work and the json changed itself back to the default

Go to your local game files and go to the mods folder and there will be a referenceImageKeys.json file there

Open the game application -> Settings -> User Interface -> Log Debug Messages -> Set It To Enabled -> Start the game -> Repeat your actions that led to the error and take a screenshot of the game, where you can see the errors in the corner of the screen -> Upload a screenshot to any service and send me a link
