I have the same problem as the other guy. With addition to some mods, it creates nonexistent puppet levels, and makes it impossible to annex countries. You wrote that older version of this mod had same issue. Is it possible to fix it somehow?

The older version of the mod used to have it with base game. Sadly I have to say that some mods edit the same files I edit, this breaks the system completely. It can't be done another way at this moment.

Sometimes it takes like a few weeks for the colours of puppets to change to the owner's. Is there any way this could be made to be faster or instant?

Sadly this is not possible.. this has to do with the way the game detects colors and color changes. Good suggestion but sadly not fixable for me
