This happens to some people but we don't know why. I'm guessing another mod is conflicting with it.
If you're willing to help out, if you can try disabling all addons and then if it works try re-enabling them until it stops working. If you find out which one causes it please let us know! I can fix it if I know what addon causes it. It will probably be something that tries to 'optimise' the game, changes interface elements/themes, uses HTML panels (like a video player), or does things to the spawn menu.

In the meantime you might be able to get past the loading screen by going to the spawn menu's sidebar > Options > Cloudbox > User > "Offline Mode", and in the Offline panel click "Reconnect". This should force it to load until we can fix it.

We've pushed out an update that should help with the loading screen

i did find a way to fix it though before the update, i changed my gmod branch to the x86-64 (which should have chromium) branch and that fixed the loading screen for me.. of course this was tested with linux (i use linux mint) but since i was playing gmod with proton at the time, it should work for windows users too

also a note to darth and all the other developers, i wanna say that cloudbox is a really cool addon and that i had a good experience with it so far. While i've never played around with the actual OG toybox feature (i played gmod for the first time around like 2015, i didn't even know toybox was a thing at that time), i do think it's nice to have an addon that keeps the old toybox stuff existing in the modern day and i do want to thank y'all for creating it. I wish for cloudbox to have a good future, you guys are awesome lol
