Now close Steam.exe and start it as admin (right click).
If you have AVAST or COMODO don't activate Game Mode until you have installed the mods this way.
Thanks! But what are AVAST AND COMODO?
And what do you mean by "Game Mode"? How not to activate it?
It seems that those programs conflict sometimes when a certain game has to connect to another server, as happens for example in King Arthur's Gold or this very game.
About Steam, this problem also happens with Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Arma2, World of Guns, etc.: the game just installs/updates if you open Steam as admin.
Yet the problem is, as I just found out, the entire workshop interface inside the game is simply not working. There are mods with "unsubsribed" status which I can't delete (the delete button is locked) - that may be normal. But when I click on mods with "subscribed" status, where the delete button is clickable, the delete comand causes no change. Although there is a prompt popping up asking me for confirmation, when I click yes nothing happens. The mod I want to delete is still on the menu as "subscribed".
In addition, when I enter the workshop page by clicking " browse the workshop" and select "subscription" in an individual mod's page, then return to the workshop interface inside the game, the newly subscribed item does not appear on the list. It's like nothing ever happened.
I never got a problem with previously with senario-based mods. However when it comes to this type of mod it's just not working.
Do I have to install something program-wise, or tweak something setting-wise to make it work?
