When i hold shift and right click an ally with a hostile spell, the mod keeps popping up with the "change tactics" menu instead. Is there a way to avoid this?

If i disable the "hold shift to target allies" option in the game's config, casting spells on myself and my allies is much slower for some reason (animation wise). This happens even in vanilla as well, so not holding shift is not a very good work around.
