it very likely is, because this and death rattle use very different systems, as far as I know, cardiac arrest in death rattle is when the heart is gone but in this mod it is dependent on a lot more things, I do not see how they could cause issues with each other

you do realize you are your brain? If your brain is dead, you are dead, not when your heart stops, cardiac arrest doesn't mean you are dead, not yet, but once your brain is fully (or for the most part) dead, you are dead, that's why there are transplants for hearts but not the brain
