Y. There's no reason not to but make both options toggleable in the mod settings.

Also further down the road it would be a good idea to look into individual settings for each piece of armour in case someone adds in a piece of armour that looks wack with a cape over it.

Y - both mods do pretty much the same just have different targets. the proposed implementation of a white/blacklist would be awesome as well.

Note that the capes mod adds new capes so its not just a patch like this one, Im probably not going to add mod settings until I finish my next mod which might take some time, since it requires some c#

Agree with Gosling. Nothing worse than a mod with a name that
a) doesn't explain what the mod does or
b) doesn't help you find it.
