I wonder if this is true if you install it to the base game like I did without using the mod menu.
could you tell us if achievments work that way?
Well that stinks. It was nice how in 5 UI-only mods didn't affect them...
If you do this, you should be able to play with this mod and still get achievements. (I think you would do that by overwriting the game's original TechButtonInclude.lua with the mod's version, and then copying the .dds files into the game's assets/UI/Art folder)
No, UI mods in 5 also disabled achievements. All mods in Civ V disabled achievements.
I just put the Art folder into the Assets directory. >_> Works fine.
Just finished a Duel Map Domination game. I got three achievements with the mod installed to the base game, without using the mod menu. ^_^
Thank you. ^_^ I required this knowledge for future reference if I were to come uppon another mod of my liking. :) I only use UI and visual mods for most games so I feel that the achievement disabling is pointless.
