Overall I think an option to just paint the sack and not have the skull be visible would be fine because compared to a Klan hood, the it lacks a point to the hood, has goggles, and tears around bottom. An alternative though is to have a style where the skull color is swapped black and gray. Then if painted white it would have a black skull design on it an still look cool.
