What does it mean when it says you need Counterstrike sourece?( the actual game or a diffrent addon?)
I am confused about whether i need the game or not. It dosen't make sense. If anyone has got a answer plz tell me

I doubt theres an addon named "Counter Strike: Source" and also if it were an addon it would show in the requirements section. Of course he means CSS the game...

Go search on YouTube, theres a way to download CSS content. Therefore you don't have to pay 20$ to play this mod lol.

You go on a site and download a .zip file of CSS content (Contains all models, textures, sounds, etc). Extract it into a new folder and paste that new folder in your addons folder of GMod. Go look up a tutorial.

No, you can legally download the CSS content and maps. Check it out on YouTube.

This isnt legal tho. It gets broken on new updates. So yeah, you better get Counter Strike Source on steam, like everyone else does.

Those rumours about the game content packs are illegal are just stupidity. You can't get banned on Steam or jailed for them, it's just an option, when you don't want to waste your hard drive space by buying and installing CS:S (or other game required for content) only for content in Garry's mod. So, kids, please stop spreading misinformations on Steam... The only cons are, that you have to re-download content packs when Gmod is updated.
