Call of Duty: Black Ops III

Green Run Survival: Dark Aether
ACTUAL THINGS TO DO + SORT-OF EE + OTHER STUFF
bear with me, this is my first time writing one of these, but i thought i'd be helpful and add a little discussion page for people as someone who's spent like 5+ hours playing this map.

FIRST. don't complain to King about any bugs or issues, or the name change thing. He just uploaded the map, he doesn't have the capacity to change/fix anything - as far as I'm aware, without having access to the original/master copy, no-one is able to do ANYTHING. Anyway, the username issue is kinda weird, as you can see in the comments, some people (myself included) have been able to play WITHOUT using t7 or anything changing their username. I, myself, always use AAE, and have never needed to modify anything for it to work.

Now, onto an actual 'guide' - i say that in quotes, as there isn't actually a defines Easter Egg outside of the denizen challenges - the reward of which is (SPOILER) the rocketgun + atomiser, which you can get out of the box anyways, and a free perk i believe? i got one anyway.

Basically, it's easy as ****. You just need 30k points in total to do the three denizen challenges - the first one (depot) just 'find the hidden denizens', the second (diner) is surviving a lockdown in the diner, which is either time- or kill-based, (I haven't tried to figure it out honestly), and the third is a soul-box in the town location.

-
For the first challenge (no particular order):
-

There's a denizen located next to juggernog

One is in the power room, on the right wall by the door leading outside the depot

And the third is on a car next to a wallbuy outside the 'diner' location, directly opposite one of the petrol pumps.

-
Second challenge:
-

Interacting with the second denizen will cost you 10k points first, and then you can interact again to start a lockdown. Basically, a load of zombies pile into the diner, and you have to survive for maybe 1:00-1:30 minutes, after which the lockdown will end and you are free to leave the diner. For this, I'd recommend rolling the box for Arnies/Monkeys, and having at least one PaP'd gun, preferably an AR or SMG because headshots will be your best friend in this tight, enclosed space.

-
Third challenge:
-

Interact with the denizen sat on top of the car next to the bar doors for 15k and you will get told to feed him souls. Now, for me, I did this on maybe round 20? and it took like 2ish rounds to fill up fully. There's not really a strategy here, you can leave the area to get ammo via the teleporter and there's no time limit (as far as I can tell) so just kill zombies, really.

-

After you do the last challenge, (SPOILER IF YOU CARE) the 'Rocketgun + Atomiser' dual-wield weapon will appear as a power-up drop outside the doors of the bar. The left gun is meant to be a thundergun-esque weapon, and the right one...well, atomises zombies. This part isn't a spoiler, but I myself have not managed to get this WW to work, I've played the map multiple times and the guns do no damage (zombies say 'immune') and the atomiser only works very rarely + exclusively on headshots. watch FPSpsycho's video if you wanna see how they work properly. I also got a free perk waiting for me back outside the diner when I did the EE, but I'm not sure if that was related to it or if it was because a scorpion died, as there WAS a scorpion corpse next to it.

There are parts available in the map, these being the plow, ladder and chute for the bus, the PaP parts, and the parts for the 'Tranzit Shield'.

The 'chute' is next to speed-cola (the depot location). It's unmissable, it's a massive white thing.

The plow is directly on the right as you come out of the power room doors leading OUTSIDE, by the barrier.

The ladder is located inbetween the depot box location, and the door leading down to PaP + teleporters.

The frame part for the shield is in the brown car diagonally left from depot speed-cola.

The door part is on the red denizen car, leaning on the side facing the box location.

The flag for pap is located directly opposite juggernog, in a barrel.

the grinder casing is in the top right-hand corner, next to the teleporter link machine(?)

the actual grinder 'gears' are located on the left hand wall, in-between the two barrels (one on a box, one on a pallet thing.)

NOW. other stuff.

Using AAE's 'mod menu' , it's possible to see in the 'weapons' section that there are multiple things that were meant to be obtainable in this map. For instance, the 'Tranzit Shield' has an upgraded variant, called the 'Magnificent Door Shield'. The 'Jet Gun' was also meant to be obtainable, called the 'TA Model 23 Jetgun'. The Bowie Knife apparently has an upgrade too, as it shows up int the 'upgraded' weapons category, although I'm not too sure if that's already in the AAE menu anyways. The Li'l Arnie's are also obtainable in this map, and can be PaP'd by meleeing the machine with them equipped, but I haven't got this to work. The Jetgun, unfortunately, seems to be one of the only weapons that DOESN'T have an upgraded variant, as it doesn't show up in the category, cannot be manually PaP'd via the menu, and cannot be PaP'd the traditional way.

(EDIT: Would like to add, I flew around the map for an hour writing this, finding all the parts, and couldn't find ANY Jetgun parts anywhere. So at the moment, it's only obtainable via a mod menu, as it isn't in the box either. )

Using 'UFO Mode', I was able to fly out-of-bounds along the bus routes without being kicked back in-bounds (after a few tries, AAE is a little funny) - Farm is completely modelled, just missing a few textures, and so are the Tunnel, Nacht, the cornfield maze, and the Cabin. The Tunnel is the only one with mostly working collision, the others have none, meaning you fall through the map. There are no wallbuys, parts, perks, working barriers etc, but other than that, they are a 1:1 model. None of these have the 'Dark Aether' makeover, but they do have the updated lava textures. I was also able to fly through the door leading below the power station in spawn, and the whole underground area is completely mapped out WITH collision, barring the actual upstairs of the building (where the massive glowing ball is located). This means the EE probably involved fixing whatever errors the robotic voice says about, going through the underground powerstation, and possibly using the big purple orb as a Dark Aether portal to maybe end the game?

Unfortunately, Danny is a few choice words I can't say on Steam, and we'll probably never see this map finished.
