A common issue I see with Total War and the Steam workshop is that mods are not always automatically updated. For this mod in particular, having the wrong version will cause unavoidable crashes.

So if the mod was updated for the latest patch and you still crash, try these steps to get the latest version:

1. Unsubscribe
2. Open the launcher, wait a few minutes
3. Close the launcher and resubscribe

If that doesn't work, you can also try deleting the mod files after unsubscribing. It can be found under: steamapps/workshop/content/114710/3297164969. Just delete that folder containing the .pack file and the thumbnail.

Alternatively, if you use WH3MM, you can simply right click the mod and select "Force Download".
