Could each of the eyes be on each of those heads with form changes?
Like when you have that little arrow on the splendid screen or not. Just have variations of the emotion selected, and then have it applied to the pyro.

Nope, cos it uses texture chage to switch between them, and textures come as one file or something. Also will requere 2 cosmetic slots, and that's not smart.

what are you talking about? having emotions as styles is entirely possible without any "2 cosmetic slots".

Skin numbers is a method of switching texture.
