with the addon Some Handy Entities, spawn an editable ar1, and use the context menu to edit its properties. select the laser option, and then scroll down and select the target npcs option. lastly, set the range to the max. this will enable the turret to track HIM, effectively showing his location at all times just so long as hes in range of the turret.

Using this method you can spawn a basic 2d nextbot, like sanic, where the turrets laser points, it will kill HIM. you can of course just spawn nextbots without using the turret strat.

i discovered all of this by accident.
killing HIM enables this strange "chase" behavior, where he teleports around you, walking towards you whilst turning visible and invisible. when he catches you, he sends you to a white void where dr breens citadel broadcast plays. if you manage to get out, through teleporting or killing yourself, the map you were playing in becomes flipped (technically its your view that gets flipped, same technique the LIDAR gamemode and construct_13_beta's mirror world use), your physgun is taken away, the maps textures change into metal(?) variants, and black fog spawns continuously around you.

from what ive seen, HIM moves extremely fast, with the same movement patterns as the terminator nextbot (which is why the mods required), and potentially through walls?? he cant fly but he can jump pretty high. at random he will stop moving and turn visible, then turn invisible once again.


edit: the combine mortar entity from some handy entities works also as a way to see HIM, with a higher range than the ar1, but MUCH slower, unless you have multiple. problem is, this seems to really piss him off, or maybe hes just mad at me because i killed him a bunch yesterday?? im not sure if his anger saves over to other sessions.
