Bug(?) report: Magnifying Glass item doesn't work with Melee weapons
I've had a run with 6 Magnifying Glass items and decided to check if it works at all for my spear, cause it didn't look like it. I threw the Magnifying Glass on the ground, but my attack size remained the same. I'm not sure if such a problem applies to the sword and the dagger, but likely it does.

it DOES work with melee, you just need tons of it

Should probably be buffed for melee weapons then, every melee weapon apart from the spear perform very poorly unless you can sustain yourself at close range
