It is fully within your rights to tell this team to remove your music, which you did, and gave a rather generous time frame to do so.
However... your sarcasm is rather unbecoming and paints you in a bad light. You've simply managed to add insult to injury, and perhaps convinced a few people that you actually gave permission for this development team to use your music, which you didn't.
I love your music, but wow, guess I'll have to separate art from the artist now, at least when it comes to you.
To my knowledge, Hakita has gone out of his way to clarify that he doesn't care if his music is used in this manner. Other mods use FromSoft music and have received nothing. Primarily because it's not worth their time worrying if their music is being used in such a manner. Toby Fox certainly doesn't care, Materia Collective not so much. Materia got clowned on not too long ago because of this. What I'm illustrating here is how pointless it is for them to worry about things like this.
If you're gonna tell this mod to remove your music, I hope you are willing to waste your time telling other mods using your music to remove your music. It'd be strange to single out one mod in particular. If you don't, would you be opposed to someone making a music pack for Terroguelike that has your music? It'd be functionally the same thing as other music replacement mods. Or this mod using it, but apparently this mod using it is a problem.
But making a sarcastic comment about them asking for permission, while in the process of working to update it without your music? That's just sad.
You are one of my all time greatest composers for indie games and even video games as a whole, up there with Lena Raine and Toby Fox. but you just ruined my impression of you as a person. Rights and rules above even the enjoyment of modding and gaming as a whole is whats important to you.
I own your whole discography on bandcamp, but I wont be looking forward to your next album because its tainted by this kind of personality. Make sure you copyright claim my 300 view video on youtube for using your music outside of gameplay if it matters so much to you.
Because apparently you thought hunting down a free mod making zero dollars was a good use of your time
