end frame being ignored bug.
some specific animations seem to ignore the end frame set in the selector and will play through the entire thing.
these are the following animations from the headshot category that I tested so far, if other categories have issues I will write the names of those animations later.

bd_death_head_multi_01
bd_death_head_multi_02
bd_death_head_multi_03
bd_death_head_single_02
bd_death_head_single_03
bd_death_head_short_01
bd_death_head_short_02
bd_death_head_short_03
ex_mix_falling_back_2_headshot
ex_mix_headshot_10
ex_mix_headshot_3
ex_mix_headshot_4
ex_mix_headshot_6

nothing pops up in the console to indicate any issue occurring, nor any lua errors.
and it persists after restarting the game, ect, ect.

these two seem to refuse to blacklist properly, rightarm 2 in particular wants to exist in the whitelist and blacklist at the same time if theres nothing else in the whitelist.
but will sometimes play, sometimes not.

and headshot will act as if its in the whitelist pool no matter what.

still no console information or lua errors.

I will leave it at that for now.

if the issue isn't with the animations themselves, fixing whatever causes the issue for them in one category, will fix any in other categories.

Something may go wrong... how about press the Reset / Use Preset button in the Animation Selector? If you fear that the changes you made are lost, you can backup the settings file in GarrysMod/garrysmod/data/enhanced_death_animations

ive tried that.

I will look for potential conflicting addons next.

I ended up factory resetting gmod and deleting all files related to addons to do a fresh install, that fixed it.
so that probably means I broke something in the cfg files or wherever the end frame settings are supposed to be stored.
