2. rename Allrounder to Universal, it just sounds better imo
3. Make Menacing and lucky equal, (menacing gives 6% more damage but 2% less crit, so lucky should also have a -2% to damage)
4. Make Warding have a 5% damage reduction too but reduce movement speed or damage.
5. Make Armored a 3% damage reduction instead of 3% damage increase
6. Add a 0.5/sec Hp regeneration to healthy, just 10 life and 3% movement speed is too little.
7. Probably give Allrounder (Universal?) a 0.5/sec HP regen too and maybe a 2% mana reduction because the stats it gives now are a little low for a tier 3
making booth reforges +6 -2 ends up being worse than jagged that gives +3 to booth damage and crits...
lets say you have a weapon with 100 damage and 10% base crit... the average damage would be 100*1.10=110
with menacing: 100*1.06(+6% damage)*1.08(10 base crit -2%)=114,48 (114 damage rounded down)
with lucky: 100/1.02(-2%damage)*1.16(10 base crit +6%)=113,72 (114 damage rounded up)
with jagged: 100*1.03(+3% damage)*1.13(10 base crit +3%)=116.39 (116 damage rounded down)
to balance it out you could make booth reforges +8 -2 to balance the jagged's +3 +3
or make jagged +2 +2 to balance booth reforges +6 -2
or just remove the -2 from booth and only make them +6
youre right, i knew jagged was better, but i didnt understand why menacing was weaker than lucky, probably should have worded it like what you said.
this would be nice balancing for more modded runs with calamity, starlight, and so on
Specifically because, if i change the positive or negative effect %, it affects ALL prefixes, not just one
Edit: Also just realized if its easier/for testing you could just make a setting option that has lower % values for ALL accessory prefixes and another for ALL weapon prefixes
Maybe you can design it so that you leave the translations directly to the user. This way, users can also use other names for certain reforges.
- damage (duh), and maybe just a little crit (as a rare treat)
- minion slots (could be additive, so -0.1 on a 2 slot minion makes it take 1.9, or multiplicative, so 0.9x on a 2 slot minion makes it take 1.8)
- size, of both minion itself and its projectiles
- movement and attack speed
- aggro range
