Im wondering the same

I think the idea is to update current Printstream skins with the new ones to fix the pearlecent effect. But it's not something the creator has the ability to do himself, so we have to hope Valve will do it.

So its not even guarrenteed? And didnt he say this was gonna be a completely new collection? Does this mean that old skins can return to a new colection for the first time?

no, it's totally going to be an update for the current ones. also kinda on valve's hands if they want to update them sooner rather than later sadly
