I think this happens with slow HDD loading speed, send a video on YouTube if you happen to record it while it happens

are lag spikes every 5 min normal?

i cantd riev cars at all everytime i spawn them in the wheels clip into teh ground the engien does run but teh car wont move

in general the lag spikes are due to collsion loading when crossing chunks of the map, theres nothing that can be done to fix it, its simply a gmod issue

stock gmod cars do not work, use simfphys/LVS cars

Hello sir any possible way to avoid huge fps drop when map parts loading in game?

for some reason the game randomly crashes when going into Rockport through the two roads that are next to that one safehouse next to rockport

I have the same problem as you

Love the layout, just as seen. Few thing on my end, lowest settings limits lag spikes. Redlines vehicles and some others get questionable traction through spikes. Many trees not breakable. (fine by me)
Plus no 3rd person cam. Odd....
Most part, works as intended for most with 8gb ram and lots of storage space. Lighting is matched with original. (very nice). Map seems to work just fine other than those pesky issues.

this is an issue with the collsion mesh having some issues in that area, im currently trying to fix it with very little sucess

third person is a cheat command in source so i can't enable it via lua, just use third person on simfphys cars, lagspikes are just a concequence of the method we use to optimize the map, its either running at 10fps constantly or 300fps with spikes between chunks, theres no gray area

We have optimized the map as much as possible, due to gmod limitations we can't make it load any faster. theres a choice between not optimizing and having stable 10fps or optimizing and having 300fps with some lag spikes.

yes, kinda, you need to use the simfpys conversions as normal cars dont work, get a tdm car you like and look for it on workshop with simfphys
