The 5th Update has Released and Jan Cheese Told me to update this Tutorial.
in the update, he added a support for mods by adding the ability to select the music in the settings.
This Means the Old Tutorial is Outdated so if you want to make it, just prefer this step.

1. create a mod folder in which there is a folder "sound"
2. In the folder "sound" put the folder "mods_music"
3. In the folder "mods_music" you should put the desired music in any amount.
4. Put it in folder "addons" or Steam Workshop
Here you have created a music mod for this mod! if you put it on Steam then add this mod as required content.

So you want to make your own music for your spawnmenu?
well here it is!

I'm going to show you steps on how to make your own Spawnmenu music ( and uploading it )


1. Extracting the Original addon ( Postal 2 map music )

There are 2 methods on how to extract it


Go to steamworkshopdownloader .io ( Remove the space because steam won't allow it )

Copy The Link of the original addon and paste it to the steam workshop downloader

if you don't had steamcmd installed, follow these steps.

Download SteamCMD from the Valve Wiki

Extract SteamCMD and make sure it has it's own folder

if you had it installed, type login anonymous.
and then paste this workshop_download_item 4000 3261871131
Use GWTOOL To Extract the GMA file on the content folder


I don't need to paste so much information,
so follow These in the description


if you had a music file, Make sure it's MP3

open the file you extracted and go to sound so you can replace it ( You can Rename the music file )

if you rename your music file. go to autorun and edit the lua file with a notepad or notepad +

then change the postal2_Map_music.mp3 to the music file you renamed

after that. place the addon you edit to your addons folder.
( Disable the Postal 2 map music first before loading into a map if you subscribe it )
And tada! you got your own spawn menu music!

Reminder

when this addon gets updated, you have to do the same extract again,
then you have to replace the old lua code with the new lua code, then rename postal2_Map_music.mp3 ( if you renamed the music file ). and then you can update your addon ( incase if you have your spawnmenu music uploaded )
