From my experience with my Red Prussia-Realistic Start map I would like to recommend you:
1. write in the description that the map cannot be played with building maintenance turned on. Even if you don't play in realistic mode, at some point it is really annoying to rebuild all collapsed deco buildings with money, you get messages about it every few minutes.
2. set the existing stations and businesses to zero workers/passengers. This reduces the “awakened” citizens at the beginning so that they don't demand something all the time and leave at some point. If the citizens can't do anything but go to church, they won't develop any needs.
3. go through all the buildings and switch off the automatic purchase so that the player don't accidentally waste money in vain
i prepare a lighter versions for this issue, but as I said in the description, my map pushes the game to its limits, you have to reduce the field of vision to avoid lag. And personally 45 fps is very honorable as a framrate, personally I play at 30 it's the minimum and I'm not complaining. but if you're used to playing at 60 fps I understand lol
