Feedback on quest talents
So far my crew is finding the quest talents to be an unfortunate distraction from the core gameplay loop. As an Inventor I'm making Circuit Boxes I don't need, the Politician is asking us to beat him below 40%, and the Medic is taking advantage of the Politician doing that. This all feels like a gamey waste of time, but if we don't do it, we fall behind the characters who can organically complete their quests.

This isn't an issue for every tree. The Soldier simply has to reload ammo and do his job by killing things - it never feels like a distraction.

So for me, I'd really like to see these quest talents changed along the following lines:
- Removed
- Reworked so that they are all complete-able organically in a normal mission
- Reworked to offer only a single experience boost for completing any of the available options, rather than three separate rewards which all have to be completed

That's some good criticism and good suggestions. I was sort-of scraping the bottom of the barrel to try to make interesting class-themed quest objectives for every class. Like politician, I wanted to track stuff like "spend x amount of money" but wasn't really able to do it, so I settled on something like the 40% thing like surviving an assassination attempt basically. I know the talents are not all equal, and making xp more equal for each class is the reason I removed most XP talents specific to classes. I just had a lot of people tell me how much they loved quests like Starter Quest so I tried my best to make one for each tree to get people semi-acquainted with the role. I know they aren't perfect, but coming up with an alternative and making such broad changes may take a while. I appreciate the feedback and I'll take it into consideration.

Ok, so... Apologies. Your response made me realize I'd badly misunderstood how the talents work. I thought they could be completed once per mission, but I see now that they can only be completed once, just like Starter Quest. So I want to change my feedback to: the starter quests are really great and a fun intro to the theme of the talent tree. That one Politician one is a bit weak still, but overall it really works.
