merchants constantly saying "your offer insults me!"
im trying to sell them alot of stuff in exchange for gold but they just keep saying that. started happening after i recruited 3 companions

That normally happens if the trade offer doesn't balance out. Are you using any mods that might be interfering with the trading system?

dont think so. as i said it started happening after i got the 3 free companions. trade is balanced out as i use the "balance offer" button too.

dont think so. as i said it started happening after i got the 3 free companions. trade is balanced out as i use the "balance offer" button too.
Just checked it and couldn't reproduce the issue, so it's either more intricate or there's a compatibility issue that's hard to tell. Unfortunately there's nothing I can really do without being able to reproduce the issue myself, so if you find out anything more about it let me know and I'll do what I can.

You didn't equip the shared bartering gift bag, did you? It's bugged and doesn't fully work. The values displayed will be for the shared bartering amount, but the NPCs will keep trying to charge you full price.
