I understand the concern for team recognition, few reasons why I didn't decide to make a red version were:
- the reference (old computer screens)
- used green is pretty neutral in hue, with the bluer parts of it not being that visible in-game
- the texture appears on max 10% of any weapon model
- the custom wear balances everything a ton
- I wouldn't make a RED vartiant much different, maybe more grey than green
- warpaint base used doesn't have team variants

Your suggestions are valid though, and if this item won't win any places in the contest it's made for, I may sit on it more and correct this minor detail. Right now it's already after deadline and I don't have any energy or time left to redo all the promos.
