I would say at minimum 150-200 hours over the course of a year for the initial release version. I had to learn the modding API, how to make sprites and some C# (though learning the language was the fastest since I alreade knew Java).
Also, the comment you left about the "Localisation" folder, it's the British spelling of the word. I probably still should change it to Localization since the mod loader expects it to be spelled like that. Everything seems to be working fine with the current spelling though.
alright, but can we talk in dm's for a bit? i'm currently learning how to mod, and i could use answers to a couple of questions :)
If you have general questions about modding I suggest joining the tModLoader discord server[tmodloader.net] and asking them in the #mod-programming-help channel. Also you should check out the guide on getting started (and Example mod):
https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/wiki/Basic-tModLoader-Modding-Guide
If you want to know something specific about my mod, you can of course ask. Join my server
https://discord.gg/TZXJ9yGapC and send me a DM. It might take some time for me to answer, though (busy) so I recommend the first option.
