have you looked in "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\CrashDumps" already if there is a crashdump?

Go to OCBASE.com and download the stresstest.
Run a CPU+RAM test and then see how that goes.
If it crashes ,then you know that some of your hardware components do not work as intended

The ”funny” thing is that this machine only crashes while playing cs2, it has survived all other bench/stresstests thrown at it… hence my question

I am also facing this ♥♥♥♥ problem. The continuous running is the key to debug my PC. Could you make a continuous mod?

Just an update on my specific case… the ”fun” part is that it was the GPU (6800xt) that caused the crashes - identified by trial and error (replacing components one by one) and actually fixed by updating vbios.

No stress-test managed to crash it though, only long cs2 game sessions.
