wich resolution and graphics quality are u using?

currently running 1600x1200 with low settings, i used to play at 1280x960 but switched to 1440p monitor but had the same outcome fps wise

It's a shame to pair this cpu with low end video like 3060, try 1280x720

626 avg with 3080ti

done it already but still bad fps, bought a 4070 super and got more fps but still low compared to other similar setups

could be cooling issue, cpu cooler not good enough or you need to clean your case and fans. I have 4070ti with 7800x3d on max settings benchmarked:

[VProf] FPS: Avg=337.1, P1=186.1

Make sure XMP is set to ON.
Something is not right on your system

Bios, turn off SMT!

i gotta 5600x and beating your higher tier setup fps wise.
FPS: Avg=405.5, P1=157.5 @ 16:10 highest res.

i would start with SMT OFF ASAP then move from there.
