BROKEN! NEED HELP!
So I downloaded these about 2 weeks ago but I didn't like them so I decided to unsubscribe from them, now they are stuck on my regular models. I cannot figure out how to remove them for good. Anyone know what to do?

Delete the gma file.

go to steam>steamapps>common>garrysmod>garrysmod>addons then delete the file from addons

is this common? i just need some civilian player models but if its gonna bug out my game after ive unsubscribed then i wont use it...

I somehow got rid of it. So go ahead and give it a try. And yes this is a very old post lol

For future reference. Use this in console:

menu_cleanupgmas

It's because GMOD sometimes sucks at removing addons and bugs out. Put this in your autoexec because all it does is remove addons you don't have anymore. But will take 20 more seconds to start gmod.
