I have it on an SSD. What steps did you take? If you want to get into it.

I'm also getting the black screen. I was having a problem where the game was crashing out every time I created a flag so I removed the mods from vortex and used the steam workshop subscription instead. And now I've got guys running around without bodies and guns that fire but don't exist. I assume that I've messed up the routing? Idk, I'm bad with mods

Crashes constantly, clothes won't load in no matter what order I have anything loaded. I loved the concept for this MOD but between the constant crashes and bugs...I'm unsubscribing. Please update us when this is...playable for more than 15min :/

Figured out the fix.

Move your modules from steamapps into the bannerlord modules folder, problem solved without needed a mod manager or nexus.

I just downloaded the mod, and finally, after hours of trying, it seems to work. When I first tried, I had a black screen, and the textures of the soldiers were missing. So I unsubscribed the mod here on Steam and all the other files, and went to Nexus and downloaded it there. I followed the instructions in the install-video. I think the problem for me was that when I launched the game, I had forgot to tick off my old "Europe 1100" mod, and this mod and its other files were also ticked. But when I finally realised that, and ticked off Europe 1100 mod, then it worked. I know how frustrating this is, so be sure that just the mod 1700 and the related files to it are ticked, and not any other mod or file when to launch the game.

Thx! Worked for me. Now I got an other problem, parties on the map never meet .. as soon as you are close enough they keep a small distance (so no interaction like fight or talk can be started). But the black screen is gone.
