And your UI doesn't seem very transparent, if you are using my Stitched Together UI, we should be able to see the ground behind it...

Check your modlist, something is definitely not right here.

i downloaded wrong nice textures mod on nexus, I did the top one but at bottom theres a version thats the correct one. Doh and it was being loaded after that political map mod. all great now alot more bigger + colorful - thanks for your help.
