Swamp riots
So I started as a swamp citizen and like clockwork towards the end of the first day, an npc from one of the swamp gangs will try to shake down one of the swamper npcs and start a fight and this will erupt into a riot that ends up killing like 80% of the npcs in shark including several shopkeepers. Is this intentional? Is there any way to avoid it?

"Riots" and fights between NPCs should indeed be more numerous with this collection.

Yet I've never encountered what you describe here. NPCs don't kill each other very often, and certainly not 80% of Shark, especially not shopkeepers since they all have numerous guards anyway.

Did you make any addition/change to the modlist?
Could you provide a save so I can try and reproduce it?

well I play the game with damage multiplier 2 and chance of death 4 so that's probably why, I prefer kenshi where people actually die when you murder them instead of just healing from being cut in half

Dismemberment and the ensuing blood loss is the main way to die with this collection, both for players and NPCs. And it should happen much more often than Vanilla, especially when using the right weapons.

Adding damage multipliers and death multipliers might indeed lead to quite the carnage ^^
