add some sort of shotgun/snake shot attachment for pistols and rifles and it would decrease the damage by 80% increase spread by 200% and increase the bullet count to 6

Increase recoil perk?
Unlike the bolt ones, this is just to exaggerate the recoil of the weapon in order to make them feel more... powerful / aggresive?
