Renown Loss for Raiding Villages
Hey guys, currently what is really ruinning the game for me is how I keep on losing up to 25 renown each time I raid a village. I"m currently a vassle of a natation which isn't at war, but I needed cash so helped myself to a few villages of another nation. Is this normal? If so, is there anyway I can turn it off? I don't mind losing honor, i get that, but you would think that you would gain renwon, i.e. become known by doing this sort of thing...

someone else reported this same issue. i suspect theres an error in the games renown vs contraversy system.

might be better to post on the mods main forum

you'd think you would gain renown for raiding innocent peasants, still worth losing the renown for that sweet sweet gold

The main problem is that renown effects both your ability to hire new troops and how large your party can become...
Personally I agree that raiding places should gain you a decent amount of renown based off the prosperity of said village or town.

If you are a hero, attacking peasants and villages is cowardly. Why should you gain renown for that? A true knight would never stoop so low. Temper your greed with mercy. :)

wouldnt have to raid villages if my bounty hunters blunt didnt kill more then they knock out
