Losing renown when raiding villages
This a bug or a feature, took me like 100 days in to realise that I was constantly resetting to 0 renown when raiding villages.

Should be a bug renown is basically fame so I don't know how raiding a village would make you less famous, you should only lose honor

You lose like 50 at a time I think

Does anyone know if there's something that i can manually hange or some other way to remove the penalty for looting villages?

Use Morght's Mount and Blade Editor to removing. You need 5 Minutes to Check the programm.
