Build 42 is just around the corner and has been known to bring almost full-fledged farming to our fun survival games. So why not build some small, cozy "old grandpa's farm"?
A house, a vegetable garden, a barn or two with pens for animals and an area for a greenhouse (which will also be added in the upcoming build).
The house will need to restore, the territory of the farm to clear, fences to repair, barns to complete, chickens and cows to bring.... in short, a real Stardew Valley with 3D cows and zombies.
It would be enhanced when B42 comes out with the blacksmithing equipment (assuming the blacksmithing has three tiers: primitive, intermediate and modern).
Had a bit more time to think on it and came up with this.
A nearby historical society (Muldraugh or March Ridge) had purchased the branch line from the owners of the land (McCoy Logging Co) and planned to renovate the old station and yard facilities to start a heritage line for tourists. But were interrupted by the outbreak of the virus.
This would leave the site with half finished buildings (station, yard office, sheds and nearby worker huts) and scattered remnants of its logging past (flatbed wagons with wood, hopper wagons).
My initial thoughts were that the large generator piece (as seen in the abandoned factory near riverside) would work as an derelict boiler from a half decayed locomotive.
Hopefully that gives you a better idea than my initial request.
I love anything cozy/rustic but it's even better when it's all run down and needs to be restored to it's former glory.
