Does Magikarp actually have to deal the killing blow to 2 bosses to evolve? The counter doesn't seem to go down just having it on my team

Magikarp does intend need to get the killing blow (otherwise it would say “Team kills 2 bosses). Note by bosses it also includes minibosses.

I was confused on the wording as well as i figured bosses excluded minibosses, also probably just me being dumb i figured at first it just meant you had to win two boss battles with him no specifically kill them will him

I feel kinda silly for not being able to figure this out, but I can't seem to get Alolan Marowak regardless when/where it is injured. Anyone seen this 'mon?

Anyone figure out what Natu's evolution requirement is?
(Edit: I got Natu to evolve by buy the card it gave me when deployed.)
