Add one fenix! it is an bird with rare chances of spawning and if you get to close it will damage you because of the fenix's fire! and also if you kill it i think it could make an litle explosion and then come back while inside the smoke. it would be an extra hazard for anyone who plays this game! and if you need to think about the desings, Just see fawkes from harry potter or from any other place....

i have an idea! aquatic birds! they fly but they also stay in the water! also another idea is befriending them! if u leave seeds for them every once in a while eventually that one bird becomes a pet like the dog and u can enable or disable it!
and one final idea is eggs! it would go with shannonj's idea of a nest, and birds will go to the nest more if theres an egg and the eggs could possibly hatch!

how about a bald eagle that can pick up and eat other small birds

I think that it's good to have the slight possibility of birds crashing because they're not the smartest animals. I know somebody who had to put down a fake owl to scare birds from ramming into their windows.
