Vertical pipes
How are we able to attach pipes verticall? i tried adding pipes all the way to the edge and I get nothing

You need to place a four-way cross pipe at the edge of the floor. Then, two tiles after that (on the third tile), you have to place another four-way cross pipe. Next, place horizontal pipes between them, and they will connect automatically into vertical pipes.
