I also want to redo some of the older ones I did before. Especially the headcrab and barnacle.

I might just completely redo the houndeye again, and the xen variants along with it.

i have a feeling this is a dumb question, but i'm assuming it isn't possible to give the barnacles gibs for if they eat a grenade/satchel?

once you're done with the main creatures could you make a dreamcast style bullsquid, with that weird purple on them

Probably. It will mostly be based on the in-game model.

As far as I know, there isn't any way to do that, unfortunately.
