Crash reports
Report any crashes here. Please provide detailed information about the crash, as otherwise we won't be able to do anything about it.

Helpful information includes:
  • Reproduction steps. As in when exactly did it crash.
  • The log file generated after a crash (located at Documents/My Games/Binding of Isaac Repentance/log.txt). Especially the last lines that can potentially list what exactly caused the crash.
  • Current version of the game. Whether you're playing the online beta or not.
  • Any other mods that were enabled at the time of the crash. All of them (even reskins of small Quality-of-Life mods can cause unexpected issues).

I've been told that playing on online beta branch causes the crash. I recommend opting out of beta first and checking if that fixes the issue first.

literally just starting a run with any of the characters crashes the game
