I'll throw the bugs I have found during testing:

1- Deagle counts as pistol after dropping your pistol and then pick it up again.
2- Swapping deagle or melee for 2 pistols counts as 1 pistol instead of 2
3- Ammo from primary weapon gets refilled when swapping with your teammate, but not when you give or take the weapon from them. [Except M60]

4- Support items like ammo type or revive can be duplicated when giving them to your teammate who doesn't have anything on that slot.

Medkit in other hand can be shared if it's not below 95% of their HP, but it will duplicate when it's above 95%.

5- Adren or pills have no bugs, but you can't take them from bots when you shove them.

Btw, for the primary weapon test, can you try official maps? For example, try on Death Toll map 2, move bots away from supply spot like the corner of saferoom, & try to swap weapons there. There's one bug on this mod that I mentioned on the description about swapping near supply spot. So, if your test on official maps away from supply spot doesn't trigger the ammo refill bug, then it's not because of primary weapon bug but because of supply spot bug instead.

Support item bug will be solved on the next update, as I have already fixed it, & probably the pistol bug too. But I'll upload it probably after I find the main cause of the ammo refill bug on primary weapon.

I uploaded a file on discord for testing. This version should fix the duplicate item bug & secondary weapon (pistol) bug including the ammo clip, but if the picked pistol is dual pistols (2 pistols at once), ammo clip will be 30 (full ammo clip), as it can't be changed on dual pistols.

I have never tried to add addons/mods manually on my folder before, if it needs to retry my game, it would take some time to switch between these 2 and test.

just put the mod in "/Left $ Dead 2/left4dead2/addons". Normally, subscribed mods go to "/Left $ Dead 2/left4dead2/addons/workshop/", so it's just one folder before it.

That's strange, In my demo that I sent to you last time, the reserve ammo bug of no. 3 didn't happen anymore.

As for pistol bug, I plan to change the mechanisms just like swapping primary weapons, by transferring weapon data instead of automatically picking dropped pistols. & for the case of ammo clip for dual pistols, that could be difficult to modify, because the default L4D2 just sets it so when 2nd pistol is picked, ammo clip will become full (30 ammo clip). Probably I'll try the weapon data transfer method later to see if I can modify the ammo clip of dual pistols or not.

So I saw your demo now, it works as intended but I'm pretty sure it's certain addons that you have that causes the ammo to not be refilled.

Because I tried going with just your addon alone, and it did not work. It still refills reserve ammo, but not the clip.

You won't need to do this, but I would like to see your addon list and add them all so I can try and see what causes the ammo fix one by one, since others are getting different results while testing, including myself.

I don't remember exactly which mods I used on that demo, but the mods I usually use are mostly my own mods on workshop, some local mods that I made about custom weapons & some skin mods (these two sure have nothing to do with ammo as there's no ammo script there). The only mods that also have ammo scripts are merciless bots & enhanced angry bots as they also have the weapon swap feature, but both of them have the outdated swap feature that still has bug on full ammo refill (so this "Survivor Item Swap & Drop" is the only one with updated ammo scripts). Btw did you have any plugins? The only thing coming to my mind was plugin, because I never use any plugins as I'm not familiar of how to use them. So I only use mods from addons.

I haven't use any plugins, I tried to go with you add on alone and it still does the same refill, but I noticed something about this as well. Reserve ammo refills base on the amount of ammo, I wasted the reserve ammo till reaching 50, turns out, it gains 50 after you swap weapons.

Having 50/100 instead of 50/50 on the SMG after swapping. It would go 50/200 on the second swap.

Swapping and then dropping to grab again seems to refill the whole thing too.

- Lastly, a bug that I found while playing any campaign on my own, is your or primary or secondary having odd amount of ammo after loading next part of the campaign.

Deagle with 16 on the clip as before if you swap with someone using 2 pistols.

Shotgun will have 32/650 ammo if you swap your SMG for a shotgun before loading the next part of any campaign.
