As of AA 2.23, most plant products have a REACTION_CLASS to make incorporating specific materials into reactions easier. These reaction classes are:

• DYE
  
• FLOUR
  
• PLANT_MILK
  
• PLANT_OIL
  
• SPICE - plant powders for flavor, such as powdered pepper or cocoa powder
  
• STARCH
  
• SUGAR - plant powders for sweeteners (includes powdered dates and sweet pods)
  
• SYRUP - plant liquid sweeteners
